Well, October 2012 just flew by here at the Chapel!  I was busy every weekend with weddings.  Five weddings in total for the month.  Each one was so special,  beautiful and unique.

Mercedes and Stephan was our first wedding in October.  Angel, from Angels flowers, did all the bouquets and arrangements and they were stunning!  Pastor Tony officiated.  It was his first wedding, and he did an awesome job!  I hope to work with him again.

Brent and Kathyrn was married the following weekend.  What a fun group to work with!  Four attendants each on brides and grooms side.  With this wedding, I suddenly realized I am older!  A groomsman asked me if any of my children had gotten married yet (I have 8 year old twins and a almost 5 year old).  Ahh, these young 20 something’s.

What I loved about Dana and Nathan’s wedding was their choice of music.  I mean, have you ever seen a couple dance their way down the aisle after they are pronounced to Huey Lewis’ “Power of Love”?  So fun!

The most touching wedding in October was Pat and Andy’s wedding.  A widow and widower who have known each other their whole lives had her son, a minister, marry them.  His words for his mother were beautiful.  I even teared up.

That about wraps up October.  So excited to see how November’s weddings shape up.  My bride for today’s wedding just called…..she is a bit stressed. Car issues, sickness etc.  I told to to take a deep breathe, it will all work out.  I’m going to pray for them right now, that a sense of calm with take hold.  See you in a few hours, Tara.  Happy Wedding Day!

Whew!
